Peters Custom, Inc. is located near Stevensville, Montana in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley. My name is Joel Peters and I am a 1986 graduate of the Colorado School of Trades gunsmithing school located in Lakewood, Colorado, and have been gunsmithing since 1987 on a part and full-time basis depending on my workload. I am an active competitor in USPSA practical shooting and a Certified Chief Range Officer (CRO) in the sport. I have also been active in IHMSA handgun silhouette, trap shooting, and bowling pin shooting. My main competitive focus has always been practical shooting. I enjoy the competition and variety that the sport offers.
